My Own Will Come to Me
My own will come to me – that’s something I have known ever since I was a child. But only recently have I truly understood that making money is the result of my hard work and dedication. If I offer someone a service that they want, I will reap the rewards of my efforts.
The more I give, the more I will receive in return. Even better, when I exceed the expectations of my employer, they are obligated to give me a raise – or risk losing me to another employer who will appreciate me. It’s not a matter of being kind, it’s a matter of necessity.
My work is my own reward – I know that if I put in the effort, I will be rewarded. I can see now that supplying a valuable service will bring me the financial gain I seek. When I give more than what is expected, I will be compensated for my hard work. It’s a fact that I can no longer ignore – if I give more, I will get more in return.
I understand now that if I want to make money, I must give more than what is asked. My employer must recognize my efforts and reward me for my hard work. If he fails to do so, it’s likely that someone else will. That’s why I’m certain that if I give more, I will get more in return.
It Will Come Back to Me Multiplied
It’s true: when I help the person at the desk next to mine, I’ll get it back in spades. Even if he’s my rival, whatever I give the firm is a form of team-building. That’s what they value the most.
The same idea applies if I have an enemy in the office. If I give them something to help them, I’m really just doing my part to help the whole organization.
Big businesses love a peacemaker because keeping the peace is key to success. Even if my boss doesn’t appreciate what I do, if I give more than I get, it’s hard for them to stay in their job.
The more you ponder this rule, the more you realize how powerful it is. It’s like I’ve been given a blank check from the universe and I get to fill in the amount!
People who don’t follow this law to the fullest are missing out. If everyone at the organization saw this law as a steadfast rule, success would be inevitable.
I used to worry that by helping someone else, I was putting myself in jeopardy. But it’s actually the opposite. When I assist someone else, I’m actually helping myself.
Service in Advance
Employees should view their own work as a reflection of their company’s service. The more service a company can provide their customers, the more money they will make in return. To draw attention to the service they offer, companies must advertise. As an employee, if you give your services to your company in advance, you will be rewarded. Every action taken in the office, store, or factory is a form of service. From filing documents to pleasing customers, you are providing a service.
Your own personal branding starts the moment you walk into the workplace. Everyone that sees you will have a perception of your service. Your boss, employer, and anyone else will be able to observe your work ethic. Even if someone criticizes you, as long as you are delivering quality service, your employers will see it and be more influenced by your work than by the criticism.
By providing services in advance and delivering quality, you will be guaranteed success. Everyone you interact with is a form of advertisement, and if you live up to your reputation, you will be selling your services in no time. The more you promote yourself, the more people will recognize the quality of your work. With the right attitude and service, you will be sure to reap the benefits.
The Law of Love
The power of Love: it’s the greatest force of all. From my wife to the person who shines my shoes, from my brother to even my enemies, I strive to give the best of myself. People tell me to smile, but I give a real, genuine smile—one that’ll be reciprocated.
Some may say this is a selfish way of thinking, but any and all forms of salvation involve a degree of selfishness. The only unselfishness that has ever truly been taught is in the giving of something in the hopes of receiving something greater.
So why am I so confident in this law? Because I’ve seen it work. Time and time again. I’m sure if you try it out, you’ll see the same results. It’s not because I say it is, nor because anyone else does. It’s simply true.
Theosophists call it the law of karma, humanitarians the law of service, and businessmen the law of common sense. Jesus Christ called it the law of love. This law is in effect regardless of whether we believe in it or not.
That said, Jesus once said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over.” This holds true, not because of him, but simply because it’s the truth. Everyone worships the truth, whether they admit it or not.
It’s true that few people go all out on this principle of giving and receiving. But if you do, you’ll get unlimited returns in return.
What You Have, Give to Everybody
What do you have to give? Of course, what you have. Now if you believe in this concept and start to spread it around – thoughtfully and smartly – and live by it in your business, how long do you think it will be before you’re acknowledged as a major player and rewarded for it?
If this idea is true, it’s worth more than any smarts or special knowledge you can possess without it. So why not give it away? Don’t just keep it to yourself; give it away. It’s the best thing you have to offer and will bring the best back to you.
It’s so easy to get caught up in yourself, but remember, what you have, give to everyone. Ideas are meant to be shared. Pass it on and watch the benefits come your way.
Your gifts, big and small, are what make you special. So be generous and don’t hesitate to share. What you have, give to everybody. It’s the best thing you can do.
